"It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen." - John Wooden
Remember “that” kid – the one who was always taking things apart in order to figure out how they worked? Well, Zac Rose IS that kid. Only, it’s never been enough for him to know how things work; Zac wants to make them work better.
A gifted basketball player, Zac spent hours on his iPhone while on road trips, testing out new apps and reading about the latest industry trends. He’d log game statistics into information that he hoped to one day incorporate into an app for coaches. His dream to become a mobile app developer was literally born in the back of a team bus.
A career-ending injury started Zac down a path that would eventually become Insight Mobile Development. With basketball no longer an option, he shifted his focus to personal training, and eventually moved on to become a financial advisor with New York Life. In each of these professions, he spent many hours studying to obtain the certifications necessary to practice in the field(s). Yet, the more he learned as he navigated through the challenges of each profession, the more he would think, “There should be an app for this!” When he couldn’t find the ones he wanted, he did what any young entrepreneur would do: he taught himself to code and developed his own. It became an obsession - because that’s how the entrepreneur’s mind works. Once you start those wheels turning, you can’t get them to stop. One app became two, then four, then…you get the drift.
Today, Zac and his company are busy designing websites and apps that help people in multiple professions work more efficiently – by helping them communicate better with their customers, increase repeat business, attract new business - websites and apps that make things better.
And at the end of the day, isn’t that what you want?
